It would be a great option if people had a choice to upload one of their photos for the cover.

I agree that would be wonderful to create our own cover.  I also would like to see the cover title printed on the book, not on a label.  I am so impressed with my cookbook and can't wait to show it to others, but the label on the front did not live up to expectations, too nice of cookbook to put a label on it.

We too love the idea of personalizing a TasteBook cover with your own photo. In fact, we've spent quite of bit of time researching this, and came to the conclusion it would be far too expensive and, during the holiday season, difficult to deliver in quantity. As an alternative, we do allow you to upload a photo on the dedication page and have received positive feedback on this feature.

There are (probably many) potential customers who are willing to pay a premium for a customer cover with a personal photo. If you choose not to add this option, please provide the name of the vendor who prints the binders so we can order a Tastebook from you and print our own custom covers.

I like Cecile's idea.  Customers will pay a premium for a customized cover and tabs.  Or least allow people to order them separate from the book so we could change out the current tabs and cover for the ones ordered separately.  This shouldn't cause Tastebook to change their production at all.  I would like to be able to put my recipes in any order I choose.  I don't see why this would be an expense to Tastebook at all.  You already see your completed tastebook online and that is what it is printed from, so why can't I change the order of the recipes?

I was disappointed that I couldn't use my own cover but was going to go ahead anyway until I read about the label.  Now I will find another site.  Thank you for saving me from being disappointed with the final product.

Zazzle.com have personalized binders you can make cookbooks with. You can add your own covers and the titles are printed not labels. This is a company Avery.com use  you can also go to Avery.com. Blurb.com will print your cookbook in book form. Both are about the same price has Tastebook depending on what you choose.

I had no idea that the front cover was a sticker - this is slightly disappointing.  I will wait to see my final product before i make my final decision though!

I think you should give customers the option to upload their own pictures for the cover and just let them know it would be an upgrade and cost more and take longer.  Same goes for making your own chapters.

The recipe book cover is a sticker? Wow, that is disappointing - unless that has been changed?
