If you designate a TasteBook as a gift order, the TasteBook will come with an intro letter that has a unique code for the gift recipient to use to redeem any recipe credits. If you order a TasteBook and do not designate it as a gift, the recipe credits will automatically be applied to your account.

To redeem the recipe credits for a gift order, go to our gift redemption page and enter the code in the gift code box in the center of the page. Click continue and if you are logged in the credits will be automatically applied to your account. If you are not logged in, you will be asked to log in or create an account.

To view the number of recipe credits you have in your account, go to 'account settings' by clicking the drop-down menu in the upper right hand of the TasteBook page. From there, click on 'credits & discounts' in the left hand column. Once you click the 'credits & discounts' link, you will see how many recipe credits you have.

To order individual recipes, simply go to any of your Recipe Collection and click 'Personal Cookbook options'. In here, you can highlight/select the recipes you wish to purchase and click 'purchase recipes separately' You will then need to go to your cart and complete your order.

Recipe credits do not expire. There is also a shipping charge of $1.95 for 1 - 25 recipe credits.

that's nice, but there is no "my account" in the upper right hand corner, am I missing something or is it somewhere else?

I selected a group of recipes to order, but can't find the "order recipes" button on the same page.  Switching to another page wipes out the selection, making it zero.  I just want to "select" and "order."  What am I missing???

I agree with Marcia above.  I cannot find anything that resembles "my account."  The text under Recipe Credit Info is of no use to me.  If you enter "credits and discounts" in the search box, you get nothing.  This is definitely the most frustrating web site I have ever used.  I would like to know how much I have left on my gift card so I can use it.  Then I will never use this site again!
