There are two ways to use our fundraising program, by ordering the books in bulk or having users order the books directly from our website.

For online campaigns (books ordered on our website using your unique fundraising code), TasteBook will pay your organization $10 for each purchase which used your organization's fundraising code at the time of order. Nonprofits with 501(c) (3) status can use the online campaign by having people order directly from our website; there is no limit or minimum to the amount of TasteBooks ordered. Users who purchase the TasteBook directly from the website  pay the full price ($29.95 for 50 recipes or $34.95 for 100 recipes). For each book sold, we will pay your organization $10 for each book sold. This payment is done quarterly.

In order to be paid, we will need your full contact information and the name and address of the organization. If you are not employed by the organization, we will also need contact information for someone there who can help facilitate payment. In addition, the organization will need to provide a copy of their IRS letter confirming the 501(c)(3) or other tax-exempt status of the organization. You can mail this to the TasteBook Fundraising Program, Accounting Department, 2240 Sixth Street, Berkeley, CA 90710, with a letter identifying yourTasteBook fundraising account information (so we can connect thepaperwork to your account).

If you do not have 501(c)(3) or other tax-exempt status, you can not have people purchase directly from the website, you will need to do the bulk ordering. For bulk orders (those without non profit status, ex: PTA or Soccer team), we require a minimum of 10 books purchased per order to qualify for the non-profit discount. For bulk orders, we apply the non-profit discount at the time of order. The organization then sells the TasteBooks at the price they wish. Whatever proceeds your organization makes from those sales, the organization keeps.

If you purchase the TasteBooks in bulk (the minimum is 10 books for a bulk order) you will be given a discount at the time of checkout (ex. the $29.95 TasteBook will be $19.95 at checkout). The discount is good for our TasteBook with 50 or 100 recipes. Please note that if you are ordering in bulk we recommend that you order one copy first to make sure it is perfect. We suggest that you check for typos, grammar or other text errors, missing ingredients or missing steps.
